The Busker Chicago is a classic 12 fret nickel-plated, brass-bodied, single cone resonator with a wide nut, based on the old 1930 National Style N. The brass body offers a slightly ‘sweeter’ tone than steel, although the difference is subtle rather than marked.
- Brass 12 fret body with polished nickel finish
- 9.5″ Continental cone
- Mahogany neck with slotted headstock
- 48mm bone nut
- High protection semi-ridged case
This un-badged Busker is one of the last to have been made in the now-defunct Busker factory. These few remaining instruments have been finished and set up by Cambridge resonator expert Pete Towers.
